The practical details.

Do I need the Mega Master Pack to follow the course?

No—but it is the recommended companion to the course. You can complete the lessons with your own references, stencils and brushes. However, several demonstrations use assets from the Mega Master Pack, including tattoo brushes, stencils, skin textures and 3D body models. Using the same files lets you follow those lessons step by step and get more from the workflow. Course customers can add the Mega Master Pack at a reduced course-only price.

Why pay for this course when Procreate tutorials are free?

Because free tutorials show isolated Procreate features—not the tattoo workflow behind them. They are made for a general audience and do not give you the tattoo-specific tricks or the complete sequence you need for real work: when to use each tool, how to keep linework stencil-ready, speed up revisions, build convincing client mockups and prepare a clean file for thermal printing. The video ends, and you are still left searching for the next step. This course puts the tricks tattoo artists actually use into one complete workflow you can repeat on every design.

Is this course for beginners or experienced tattoo artists?

Both. If you are starting from zero, the course builds your foundation first—canvas setup, DPI, layers, gestures and file organization—then takes you through stencil editing, mockups, five tattoo styles, speed tools, custom brushes and print-ready export. By the end, you have a complete workflow you can use on real tattoo designs. If you already know Procreate, you will learn tattoo-specific shortcuts, settings and techniques that help you design, revise and present your work faster—material generic Procreate courses do not cover.

Does this teach how to tattoo skin?

This course covers digital design, client presentation and stencil preparation inside Procreate. Machine technique and tattooing skin sit outside the curriculum.

Do I need an iPad, or can I use Procreate Pocket?

To follow every lesson exactly as shown, you need Procreate on iPad: the course uses the iPad interface, Apple Pencil and 3D painting. Procreate Pocket is still a powerful option for much of the 2D workflow. On iPhone you can use custom canvases and DPI, layers and masks, Selection, Transform and Warp, blend modes, Gaussian Blur, text, custom brushes, and .procreate, PSD and PDF export. The interface and gestures differ, Apple Pencil pressure and tilt are unavailable, and the 3D body-model lessons cannot be reproduced in Pocket. Separate Pocket instructions are not included. Android and Windows are not supported.

It is a self-paced recorded course. You can follow the modules in order and rewatch the lessons through your customer access.

Will the techniques work for my tattoo style?
